Italian Study‑Travel Market Remains Steady for 2026 Amid Growing Family Focus on Quality

The ASTOI Confindustria Education Observatory reports that Italy’s study‑travel sector is expected to maintain stable demand for the 2026 school year despite ongoing economic and geopolitical uncertainties. Families are shifting their priorities away from destination and price toward the educational content of programmes, operator reliability and safety guarantees. The High‑School segment remains the most structured offering, with long‑duration programmes seen as a valuable linguistic and intercultural investment for students aged 16‑17. Operators are increasing investment in support services, organisational guarantees and partnerships with host families and schools.

Separately, the Forum Droghe and CNCA are organising a three‑day Summer School on “Stigmi/Paradigmi” in Rome from 3‑5 September 2026. The event, limited to 100 participants, charges €130 plus VAT, provides ECM credits, documentation and meals, while accommodation is self‑arranged.
