Italian technical school alumni hold reunions after nearly 50 years

Former students from technical institutes in Italy have organized reunions to mark nearly five decades since their graduation.

In Recanati, the 1976 mechanical engineering class from ITIS Enrico Mattei gathered in Porto Recanati. Many members of this cohort played significant roles in the industrial expansion of the Recanatese region, serving as technicians, designers, and entrepreneurs during a period of intense economic growth.

In San Severo, alumni from the 1973–1978 Course C at ITIS ‘A. Minuziano’ held a reunion that drew participants from various Italian regions and even from the United States. The event included a visit to the school's current facilities and a meeting with current fifth-year students, facilitating a dialogue between the older alumni and the younger generation.
