Italian theaters in Lonigo and Pesaro unveil 2026‑27 season line‑ups

The municipal Teatro Comunale G. Verdi in Lonigo (Vicenza) presented its 2026‑27 theatrical season. Artistic director Alessandro Anderloni opened the program on 7 November with the comedy “L’illusione coniugale”, starring Rosita Celentano, Attilio Fontana and Stefano Artissunch. Subsequent productions include William Arthur Rose’s “Indovina chi viene a cena”, Barbara Foria’s “Basta un filo di rossetto”, a Dario Fo play, and a series of music and tribute events scheduled through early 2027.

In Pesaro, the historic Teatro Rossini announced its 2026‑27 dance season, organized by the municipality and AMAT. Director Gilberto Santini highlighted a diverse lineup that begins on 6 November with the ResExtensa Dance Company’s “Dittico delle Radici”. The season will feature works such as Susanna Beltrami’s “Il danno”, the Akram Khan Company’s “Chotto Desh” on 6 February 2027, and performances by the Accademia Teatro alla Scala’s dance school, among other international and contemporary pieces, concluding in May 2027.
