Italian theaters launch new performance seasons in Brescia and Ravenna

The Centro Teatrale Bresciano (CTB) has announced the launch of its 53rd theatrical season, titled ‘Dove nascono le storie’. Starting September 3, the organization will begin its subscription campaign for a program featuring 35 shows and 19 CTB productions. Performances will take place at the Teatro Sociale, Teatro Renato Borsoni, and Teatro Mina Mezzadri, featuring prominent national figures such as Umberto Orsini, Stefano Massini, and Lella Costa.

Subscription options include various formulas such as ‘Fedeltà’, ‘Stagione di prosa’, and ‘Fuori Stagione’, alongside flexible ‘Carte libere’ options. Special rates are also available for university students and school groups.

In Ravenna, Ravenna Teatro is launching its 2026-2027 season with a prologue of eight shows scheduled between September and November. The season opens with ‘Frisbee. Una storia d’amore’ by the local company Spazio A Teatro, performing at the Ridotto del Teatro Rasida from September 1 to September 6. The production explores themes of artistic ambition and contemporary culture through a metatheatrical lens.
