Italian theme parks MagicLand and Leolandia report record visitor growth and multi‑million euro investments

MagicLand’s 2026 season has already attracted more than 250,000 visitors in just three months, marking a 75% increase in revenue and a 35% rise in attendance since 2019. The park has expanded its offering through partnerships with brands such as Algida, Red Bull, Nutella and Campari, and introduced new experiences featuring characters like Bluey, Bingo and the Winx franchise. A new partnership is set to fund a 15 million‑euro investment for further development by 2027.

Leolandia celebrated its 55th anniversary, reporting over one million annual visitors – 40% of whom come from outside the region – and a revenue of about €35 million. The park, founded by Guido Pendezzini and now led by President Giuseppe Ira, is executing a €30 million three‑year investment plan launched in 2023, which includes new attractions such as the Reversum spinning coaster. Both parks underscore a broader trend of strong growth and significant private‑capital investment in Italy’s family‑entertainment sector.
