Italian towns Grottaferrata and Abbanoa face scheduled water service interruptions

Acea Ato 2 announced that on 11 June 2026 the water network in Grottaferrata will be shut down from 09:00 to 17:00 for extraordinary maintenance. The interruption will affect streets including Via della Pedica, Via XXIV Maggio, Via G. Quattrucci and Via Campi d’Annibale, with possible pressure drops on adjacent roads. To mitigate the impact, water‑truck (autobotte) stations will be set up on Via della Pedica and Via Quattrucci, and residents can request special supply via a toll‑free line (800 130 335).

In the city of Abbanoa, technicians will complete a two‑day repair of a 600 mm distribution pipe serving the eastern districts. The work, scheduled for 09 June 2026, will leave faucets dry for much of the day in neighborhoods such as La Palma, Medau Su Cramu, Poetto, Quartiere del Sole, San Bartolomeo, Sant’Elia and via Fleming. Normal service is expected to resume by 18:30, and any issues can be reported to a 24‑hour hotline (800 022 040).
