Italian towns install new public defibrillators

The Prefecture of Campobasso (Molise) received a new semi‑automatic defibrillator donated by the BCC Valle del Trigno Foundation. The Prefect thanked the bank’s area chief Michele Sce and highlighted the device’s role in workplace health safety and the broader aim of increasing lifesaving equipment in public spaces.

In Treviso (Veneto), a public defibrillator was installed outside the Ascom Confcommercio headquarters. The inauguration, attended by mayor Mario Conte, the Confcommercio president and health officials, was presented as part of a wider cardioprotection effort. The association trained several employees in basic life‑support and defibrillation, emphasizing community responsibility and the importance of rapid response to cardiac emergencies.
