Italian towns launch public hiring drives for cafeteria staff and social service professionals

The municipality of Cefalù (province of Palermo) has opened a public competition for two permanent, full‑time kitchen positions in its municipal canteens. Applications must be submitted by 30 July 2026 and candidates need a relevant qualification, a current HACCP certificate and must pass a written‑practical exam.

Manfredonia announced a public call for five specialists to work on the “Manfredonia Comunità Operosa e Solidale” programme, financed by the PN Metro Plus fund. The roles include a Project Coordinator, a social‑innovation and entrepreneurship expert, two territorial‑animation experts and a communications specialist. The initiative aims to generate jobs, support youth, assist vulnerable residents and strengthen community‑based welfare services.
