Italian towns launch youth engagement programmes for summer 2026

The municipality of Cascina (Tuscany) opened registrations for the summer project “Ci sto? Affare Fatica!” aimed at residents aged 13 to 19. Two sessions run from 24‑28 August and 31 August‑4 September 2026, with 15 spots per week. Participants will maintain public spaces, help local shops and receive a €50 “buono fatica” voucher to spend at participating businesses.

In Livorno, the association Cespuglio Ecosistema Teatrale announced enrolment for its 2026/2027 theatre workshops, scheduled to start in October. Founded by actress‑trainer Alessia Cespuglio, the programme adds a new course for adolescents, a monologue workshop and a seminar on narrative theatre, complementing existing adult classes and collaborations with health‑ and addiction‑services organisations.
