The Senigallia City Council voted to finalise the structure of its four standing commissions, covering institutional affairs, economic development, finance, and social‑cultural matters. The decision named the members of each commission and added two foreign councillors, Nobi Abdus Salam and Mohamed Malih, to all four bodies.

In the nearby town of San Donaci, Mayor Vincenzo Miccoli submitted his resignation together with that of eight municipal councillors, prompting the dissolution of the council. The mayor cited the desire to avoid political re‑checks and to accelerate the completion of pending projects, including a €25,000 regional grant for a local festival, an €80,000 playground upgrade and a €540,000 road‑work programme. The resignation will be forwarded to the prefecture for formal acceptance, and a prefectural commissioner will now oversee the municipality’s administration.
