Italy hosts multiple Baroque and sacred music festivals in June‑July 2026

A series of classical music events took place across Italy in June and July 2026, highlighting baroque repertoire and sacred themes. In Tortona, the Perosi Festival and Alessandria Barocca partnership presented the concert “Gioielli del Barocco europeo” on 24 June at the Church of Santa Maria Canale, performed by the Collegium Pro Musica.

The fifth edition of the Turin Baroque Music Festival opened on 27 June at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Turin with the Maghini Consort’s “Selva Morale” concert, and continued with a schedule of eighteen baroque performances through the summer months.

Other regional programs included the “Florilegium” concert by Ensemble Terra Mater in Bergamo’s Palazzo Terzi on 21 June, the “Antico Futuro” baroque‑canto crossover in Imola’s San Giacomo church on 20 June, and the “Francesco è vivo” concert in Lucca’s San Francesco church on 26 June featuring the Cappella Musicale of the Papal Basilica of Saint Francis and the Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina.

Additional events such as the “CarpInMusica” debut on 22 June in the Palazzo dei Pio courtyard, the “Moie – Ouverture d’Estate” concerts in the Marche region on 20‑21 June, and the “Le Voci del Vulcano” nature‑music walks in the Bracciano‑Martignano Park between 20 June and 28 June rounded out a diverse summer of Italian cultural programming.
