Italian volleyball clubs Leonessa Altamura and Perugia sign top players for 2026‑27

PanBiscò Leonessa Volley Altamura announced the acquisition of Lea Orlandi, a 2006‑born Venetian middle‑blocker. Orlandi brings two Serie A1 promotions, two Under‑18 championships and experience from Valsabbina Millenium Brescia and Imoco Conegliano. She said, “Sono molto contenta di iniziare questa nuova stagione ad Altamura.”

Sir Susa Perugia confirmed the signing of Giovanni Sanguinetti, a 2000‑born central from Modena. Sanguinetti, 202 cm tall, helped Modena win the CEV Cup in 2023‑24 and has logged 166 SuperLega matches with 764 points. He stated, “Dopo il lungo percorso a Modena la chiamata di Perugia è stata un’opportunità da non poter mancare.” The new recruits are intended to strengthen both clubs’ central blocks ahead of the 2026‑27 Serie A2 campaign.
