Italian wine industry highlights local producers and enotourism
The town of Terricciola is hosting the second edition of “In cantina a Terricciola” on November 7 and 8 to celebrate World Enotourism Day. Organized by the Municipality of Terricciola, the event features fourteen local wineries offering free tastings and guided visits to showcase the region's viticultural heritage. A shuttle service will be provided to assist visitors in exploring the local vineyards and production sites.
In broader industry news, the Gambero Rosso Guide d’Italia has recognized 54 wineries receiving the “Tre Bicchieri” award for the first time. The recipients include a diverse range of producers, from historic estates like Endrizzi, founded in 1885, to new independent projects such as Cascina Penna-Currado in the Langhe region. The list also features cooperatives like Cantina dei Colli Ripani in the Marche and Vignaioli del Morellino di Scansano in Tuscany, highlighting the variety of production models within the Italian wine sector.
