Italian wineries unveil new rosé wines, highlighting regional heritage

Bosco del Sasso, an Oltrepò Pavese producer, introduced its new Metodo Classico rosé, Dahlia, at a launch in Milano’s Fragile Milano showroom. The Pinot Nero‑based sparkling rosé is described as having a pink‑ancient hue, fine perlage and aromas of red berries, pomegranate and floral notes, and is positioned as a refined aperitif for Mediterranean cuisine.

In Ruvo di Puglia, Mazzone Boutique Winery held a talk on the Nero di Troia rosé after the wine secured first place in the 100 Best Italian Rosé 2026 guide. Journalists and curators discussed the role of rosé in expressing territorial identity, with the family‑run Mazzone estate emphasizing the grape’s link to the Alta Murgia region. The evening combined a panel discussion, wine tasting and a gastronomic pairing prepared by chef Amoruso.
