Italian wines receive high acclaim from major critics

Tenute Rubino’s Visellio Primitivo Salento IGT 2022 has received unanimous high scores from three major wine guides. The vintage earned 92.5 points from AIS Vitae, and 93 points each from both Doctor Wine and Falstaff. Produced from Primitivo grapes from the Uggìo-Punta Aquila estate, the wine is aged in French oak barriques and is noted for its intense character, ripe fruit notes, and Mediterranean aromas.

In Tuscany, Tenuta Montauto’s Enos I Sauvignon V.V. 2025 has been awarded the prestigious Tre Bicchieri by Gambero Rosso for the second consecutive year. This recognition highlights the winery’s success in producing high-quality white wines in the Maremma region, an area traditionally known for red varieties. The project, led by Riccardo Lepri, continues a viticultural tradition started by his grandfather in the 1970s, focusing on organic and sustainable practices.
