Italian women celebrate milestone 100th and 102nd birthdays

Two women in Italy have recently celebrated significant milestone birthdays.

In San Paolo Albanese, Anna Carazia celebrated her 102nd birthday on August 23, 2026. The Mayor of San Paolo Albanese, Mosè Antonio Troiano, honored her for her contributions to the community and her role as a pillar of her family, noting her life alongside her husband, Principal Mosè Troiano.

In Ferrara, Marina Barozzi celebrated her 100th birthday on August 24. Born in Modena in 1926, Barozzi moved to Ferrara in 2015 to be near her son. Local official Cristina Coletti presented her with a commemorative plaque and a letter from Mayor Alan Fabbri at the Residenza Paradiso. Barozzi previously worked at the San Filippo Neri Institute and enjoys cooking and card games.
