Italian volleyball clubs complete 2026‑27 rosters, adding young stars

VBC Cremonese presented four new athletes for the 2026‑27 season at the Folcieri Bruno headquarters, highlighting the sponsorship deal with the local company. The quartet—Arianna Gambini, Ilaria Menon, Layla Viti and a fourth player—completes a 14‑woman roster with an average age of 24.

Futura Volley announced the signing of Slovenian outside hitter Mija Šiftar, a 2006‑born talent who previously played in France, Italy’s Serie A2 and the CEV Champions League. The club praised her powerful attack, solid all‑round skills and European Youth Olympic gold medal, calling her the final piece of their 2026‑27 roster.

Volley Tricolore (Conad Reggio Emilia) confirmed the arrival of opposite Alessandro Storchi, a 192 cm, 2006‑born player developed in Modena’s youth system. Storchi, who has experience in Serie B and a brief stint in Serie A3, expressed enthusiasm for contributing to the team’s push back to Serie A2.
