Italian youth sports clubs achieve multiple podium finishes

Various Italian youth sports clubs reported significant achievements across gymnastics, athletics, and football during recent regional and national competitions.

Ginnastica Riccione Academy saw success in Cesena, with Amelia Mettifogo winning silver in the GAF all-around and Amelia Tesini taking gold in the LE3 category. Meanwhile, Atletica Genzano athletes Giorgia Gatti and Rebecca Urbani secured gold and bronze respectively in the CONI National Finals in Grottaglie, setting new regional records.

In athletics, Atletica Endas Cesena athletes performed well in Ferrara and Agropoli, with Sara Minotti setting a club record in high jump and Olivia Teodorani placing fifth in the national 80m hurdles. Atletica Grosseto also saw notable results, including Cloe Meravigli finishing fifth in the 1000m at the Italian Cadet Championships.

In football, Augusta Football Club’s youth sector achieved dual victories in the Regional Élite championships, with the Under 17 and Under 15 teams both securing wins against Teamsport.
