Italian Youth Initiatives in Acqui Terme and Marche Boost Community Engagement

In Acqui Terme, the informal youth group YEPP organised a year of activities that reached more than 1,000 teenagers. Supported by the municipality, the ASCA association and local foundations, the group ran the Jungle youth centre, the Love Therapy sex‑education workshops and the EcoLogica sustainability programme, which included nature walks, a film screening on PFAS pollution and large‑scale assemblies.

Meanwhile, the regional Anpas committee launched a free summer camp called “Giovani Esploratori Anpas” in the province of Fermo, Marche, scheduled for 31 August‑4 September 2026. Open to boys and girls aged 10‑13, the week‑long camp offers volunteer work, civil‑protection training, sports and environmental activities, with visits to local public‑assistance facilities. The programme is fully funded by the Marche region and the Italian Ministry of Labour and Social Policies and includes meals and a welcome kit for participants.
