Italy allocates 32 million euros for SME industrial property

Italy is implementing several financial and regulatory measures to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and professional sectors. The Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (Mimit) has announced 32 million euros to bolster industrial property. This funding is divided among three initiatives: 20 million euros for Brevetti+ to enhance the economic value of patents, 10 million euros for Disegni+ to support design and modeling, and 2 million euros for Marchi+ to protect Italian trademarks in international markets.

Additionally, a legislative reform (Decree 138/2026) is reorganizing the national incentive system into five primary tools: the Sustainable Growth Fund, the SME Guarantee Fund, the Venture Capital Support Fund, the New Sabatini for capital goods, and aerospace incentives. This reform aims to reduce fragmentation and simplify procedures for businesses.

In the professional sector, the National Social Security and Assistance Fund for Pharmacists (ENPAF) has confirmed a 400,000 euro one-time assistance contribution for 2026. This measure is specifically intended for freelance pharmacists and those in similar roles, such as those working under coordinated collaboration contracts or research scholarships, to support them through evolving market dynamics.
