In a significant expansion of automotive support, Mimit announced a 631 million euro allocation for research and innovation within the automotive supply chain. Managed by Mediocredito Centrale through the Sustainable Growth Fund, the initiative targets industrial research and experimental development to enhance competitiveness and facilitate transitions to advanced technologies, including dual-use applications. Approximately 252 million euros (40%) is reserved for projects conducted entirely within the Mezzogiorno regions. The application window for this automotive funding is scheduled to open on November 25.
