Italy announces recruitment for 882 technical specialists and 100 nurses

The Department for Cohesion Policies of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers has announced a major recruitment drive for 882 technical specialists to support European cohesion policy management in Southern Italy. The positions, which offer permanent contracts, are distributed across several regions: Sicily (269), Campania (237), Puglia (168), Calabria (104), Sardinia (61), Basilicata (35), and Molise (8).

Candidates must hold specific degrees in fields such as architecture, civil engineering, or environmental sciences. The selection process involves a single written exam, and applications must be submitted via the inPA portal by September 23, 2026. The initiative aims to address technical staff shortages that currently hinder the effective spending of EU funds in the Mezzogiorno.

Separately, the ASST Lecco has opened a public selection for 100 permanent nursing positions. These roles are divided between the Hospital Hub (60 positions) and the Territorial Hub (40 positions). Applicants require a degree in Nursing and registration with the professional order, with a submission deadline of September 24, 2026.
