Italy aviation strikes scheduled for September 2026
Multiple aviation-related strikes are scheduled across Italy throughout September 2026, affecting various companies, categories of workers, and specific airports.
On September 11, technical flight crew at Poste Air Cargo will conduct a four-hour national strike from 00:00 to 04:00. This action is expected to impact air cargo operations rather than general passenger flights.
September 13 is expected to be a significant day for disruptions. A 24-hour strike by ADR Security personnel will take place at Rome’s Fiumicino and Ciampino airports, potentially affecting airport operations and departure procedures. Simultaneously, in Tuscany, staff from Toscana Aeroporti, GH Toscana, and Consulta have planned a four-hour work stoppage from 11:00 to 15:00 at the Florence and Pisa airports.
Additional industrial actions involving ENAV and Techno Sky are also noted in the month's schedule, with further disruptions anticipated toward the end of the month, including an ENAV strike on September 30.
