Cattolica Approves €150k Green Park Revitalisation Project

The Cattolica municipal council approved a €150,000 urban renewal plan for the Parco della Pace. The scheme includes self‑cleaning, wheelchair‑accessible toilets, new pedestrian pathways, a beach‑bowls court, children's playground equipment and benches. Funding comes from the municipality (€96,000) and a regional grant for urban‑area improvement and social‑cohesion initiatives. The project also incorporates anti‑bullying and legal‑awareness programmes coordinated with local schools and the youth centre. Work is slated to start in July, pause in August and resume in autumn to complete before the end of 2026.
