Webuild and Autostrade per l'Italia sign 803 million euro Genoa tunnel contract

Autostrade per l'Italia and Webuild have signed an 803 million euro contract for the construction of Lot B of the Genoa subport tunnel. The project, part of the Aspi Group, aims to redesign urban mobility and the landscape of the Ligurian port area.

The infrastructure, designed by Tecne, features a 4.2-kilometer route, including over 3 kilometers of separate tunnels for each direction of travel. The project is intended to connect the western and eastern parts of the city while providing 6 hectares of new green space through the Lanterna Park.

In separate infrastructure developments, Sport e Salute is installing a new covering for the Stadio del Nuoto at Rome's Foro Italico. This project, completed after 20 years, will allow the facility to be used year-round for various aquatic disciplines.

Additionally, Padania Acque has announced a 26 million euro project in the Cremasco area to unify water networks across six municipalities, including Crema and Offanengo, into a single integrated system.
