Remind Association hosts peace dialogue in Rome

The fourth edition of ‘Il Coraggio della Pace by Remind’ was held in Rome, organized by the Remind Association. The event brought together representatives from national and European institutions, the armed forces, the church, and the private sector to discuss the construction of lasting peace.

Paolo Crisafi, President of Remind, emphasized that peace should be viewed as a ‘civil infrastructure of the Nation,’ built through security, justice, health, work, and trust in institutions. Antonella Sberna, Vice President of the European Parliament, noted in a video message that peace requires the courage to face the perspectives of others and build together.

In a separate context, Italian Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini spoke to the Russian news agency TASS regarding the conflict in Ukraine. He stated that the Italian government maintains an ‘equilibrated’ position, aiming to return to diplomacy and end the suffering caused by the war.
