Italy expands nursing workforce with hiring contest in Naples and trainee placements in Calabria
The Federico II University Hospital in Naples announced a public competition to recruit ten permanent nursing positions. The call reserves three places for candidates belonging to the military categories under Legislative Decree 66/2010 and one place for volunteers who have completed the Universal Civil Service. Applicants must hold a three‑year degree in Nursing Sciences and be registered with the professional order. Applications must be submitted by 19 July through the AOU Federico II competition portal.
A limited number of nursing and physiotherapy students from the University of Calabria have begun supervised internships at the iGreco Ospedali Riuniti in Cosenza. Each student receives one‑to‑one tutoring, providing practical experience while aiming to retain talent in the region.
