Italy funds 2018 earthquake reconstruction in Molise and Marche

The Molise regional president, Francesco Roberti, acting as Extraordinary Commissioner for reconstruction, signed Decree No. 48 on 13 July 2026. The decree launches a 2026 public notice to finance private housing reconstruction for properties that missed earlier application deadlines, with funding available until current resources are exhausted.

In the Marche region, Extraordinary Commissioner Guido Castelli approved two projects in Roccafluvione totaling €484,000. €300,000 will secure the municipal road of San Giacomo, and €184,000 will restore the Osoli cemetery, addressing structural damage caused by the 2018 seismic events.
