Italy announces various public sector job openings and training programs

Various Italian regional administrations and health authorities have announced new employment and training initiatives.

In Lombardy, ASST Brianza has opened four public competitions for eight permanent positions, including roles for an orthoptist, a cardiovascular perfusion technician, a social worker, and five socio-sanitary professional educators. Applications must be submitted by mid-September 2026.

In Molise, the regional health agency (ASREM) is recruiting 16 nurses for permanent positions, with an application deadline of September 10, 2026. Additionally, the “Destinazione Molise” HUB is conducting a free professional training course for over 400 tourism operators, covering marketing, communication, and management.

In Fiumicino, the municipal administration has launched a selection process to stabilize educational and school staff, specifically targeting two teachers and three educators to provide professional continuity.

In the Lecco area, the ASST has announced that due to the departure of a general practitioner in Imbersago, patients will be automatically transitioned to a temporary medical clinic in Merate to ensure service continuity.
