Tech events in Italy and San Marino focus on AI and digital transformation
Various technological and digital events are taking place across Italy and San Marino, focusing heavily on the integration of artificial intelligence and automation into society and industry.
In Turin, the Wave 2026 conference (formerly Italian Tech Week) brings together entrepreneurs, investors, and international tech leaders to discuss the transition of AI from experimentation to practical business applications. The event features discussions on the future of the web, automotive evolution, and the role of AI in sports.
Pisa is hosting the 16th edition of the Internet Festival from October 8 to 11. Under the theme #saggezza (wisdom), the festival explores digital rights, ethics, cybersecurity, and the impact of AI on work and personal life through various workshops and installations.
In San Marino, the ASI (Associazione Sammarinese per l’Informatica) participated in the UiPath FUSION event in Milan. The Sammarinese startup Methody, a UiPath partner, highlighted its work in software automation and AI to improve business efficiency and reduce repetitive tasks.
Other regional initiatives include the Living History project in Molfetta, which uses AI to enhance cultural heritage, and educational programs in Aportiane designed to help families navigate the impact of AI on education and human relationships.
