Italy hosts events on cultural heritage preservation and protection

Two distinct cultural events in Italy will focus on the preservation and protection of historical heritage.

In Brignano Gera d’Adda, the Associazione Giovanni Secco Suardo and the Santa Maria Assunta Parish will host a two-day event on October 2 and 3, 2026, dedicated to the Church of San Rocco. The program includes a presentation of a new volume regarding the church's restoration and architectural history, accompanied by musical performances by artists from the Teatro alla Scala di Milano and the Ensemble della Basilica Autarena.

In San Nicola la Strada, the municipality will host a presentation for the book ‘I delitti contro il patrimonio culturale’ (Crimes Against Cultural Heritage) on September 29, 2026. Written by Mariano Nuzzo, the Superintendent of Archaeology, Fine Arts, and Landscape for the Provinces of Caserta and Benevento, the book serves as a practical guide for public administration officials and judicial bodies to combat crimes against cultural assets.
