Italy hosts inclusive kayaking events and national championships

In Sottomarina, the Centro Astoria is hosting an inclusive kayaking event on August 27 in collaboration with Canoa Kayak Chioggia ASD. Designed to promote integration and accessibility, the session allows youth with disabilities to experience kayaking under the guidance of qualified federal technicians. The initiative follows the facility's recent recognition as the ‘Azienda Inclusiva del Veneto 2025-2026’.

Meanwhile, in Ivrea, the Italian Kayak Cross Championships concluded with significant success for local athletes at the Stadio della Canoa. The competition featured slalom races for Junior, Under 23, and Senior categories, as well as night-time Kayak Cross challenges. Local athletes from the Ivrea Canoa Club secured multiple titles and podium finishes, including gold medals in the Junior category and various placements in the K1 and kayak disciplines.
