Italian music festivals host tributes to Battiato and Dalla

Various musical events and tributes to iconic Italian singer-songwriters are taking place across Italy this summer.

Several ceremonies are dedicated to Franco Battiato. In Sant’Agnello, the S. C. S. International Symphony Orchestra and the jazz band “La Cruna del Lago,” directed by Leonardo Quadrini, will perform his hits. In Diano Marina, the biopic “Franco Battiato. Il lungo viaggio” will be screened. Additionally, the “Note di pietra” festival in Montalbano Elicona features a tribute by the Coro Lirico Siciliano at the Argimusco megalithic site.

Other notable performances include a tribute to Franco Battiato and Lucio Dalla in Milo, featuring artists Amara and Simone Cristicchi. In Pescara, the CoverLover festival will host a night dedicated to Claudio Baglioni, Antonello Venditti, and Renato Zero. Other scheduled events include a Tony Tammaro show in Sant’Agnello, a Baby K concert in Oria, and the Tra2Mari Festival in Catona, which offers a mix of theater, comedy, and music.
