Italy hosts national championships for traditional ruzzolone and ruzzola sports

Italy recently hosted two major national championships for traditional rolling sports, ruzzolone and ruzzola.

The 53rd Italian Absolute Championship of ruzzolone, promoted by FIGeST and organized by Asd Bosco, took place at the new Collestrada facility in the Treppi forest area near Perugia. The event drew 600 participants. In the youth categories, Nicolò Bizzini won the Juniores division, while Stefano Polacci took first place in the Allievi category. Alessandro Cerfogli and Giulio Muzzarelli secured victories in the Ragazzi and Pulcini categories, respectively.

Separately, the 42nd National Ruzzola Team Championship was held in Vallurbana, Città di Castello, under the auspices of UISP. The competition featured 32 teams from Central Italy. In Category A, the Serralta team, led by Filippo Cinti, claimed the national title. In Category B, the Castelplanio team, captained by Vincenzo Bramati, emerged victorious.
