Italian national ruzzolone and ruzzola championships

Overview

Italy hosted several national championships for the traditional wooden disc throwing sports of ruzzolone and ruzzola.

The 53rd Italian Absolute Championship of ruzzolone was held at the Collestrada facility in the Treppi forest area near Perugia. Organized by Asd Bosco and promoted by FIGeST, the event included approximately 600 participants. Notable youth winners included Nicolò Bizzini, Stefano Polacci, Alessandro Cerfogli, and Giulio Muzzarelli.

In addition to the ruzzolone events, the 42nd National Ruzzola Team Championship took place in Vallurbana, Città di Castello, where the Serralta team won Category A and the Castelplanio team won Category B. Further ruzzola competitions were held near Lake Polverina on Monte Fiegni, featuring 48 teams. In that competition, a Perugian team secured the Category A title, while a team from Macerata won Category B.
