In Sicily, specifically within the Trapani area, the Extraordinary Commissioner of the Asp Trapani, Sabrina Pulvirenti, has highlighted a widespread shortage reported by the National Blood Center. There is a particular need for the O positive blood group. Citizens can donate at transfusion medicine centers in Trapani and Marsala, or through local branches of associations such as Avis and Fidas.
