Italy launches large‑scale public service hiring campaigns

The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation published a call for 95 permanent civil‑service positions, split among administrative, economic‑statistical and technical (architecture/engineering) profiles, with applications due 30 July.

The Italian Army opened a public competition for 3 200 volunteers for initial service (ages 18‑24). Candidates are evaluated in selection centres in Foligno, Bari, Milan, Palermo and Rome, with the deadline on 22 July. Seventy‑eight of the spots are reserved for technical trades such as electricians, mechanics and aircraft technicians.

Multiple public‑sector contests are closing in July, offering more than 2 500 jobs. The INPS will hire 1 695 permanent officials; the national health service, regional health authorities and local administrations are recruiting hundreds of doctors, nurses, administrative assistants and other staff.

The Service Civile Universale programme released a call for 65 964 volunteer operators for projects in Italy and abroad, with contracts lasting 8‑12 months and a monthly stipend of € 519.47. A provisional ranking for the Messina municipality identified 12 selected volunteers for local projects, with the programme set to start on 18 September.
