Italy opens new municipal nurseries in San Giorgio delle Pertiche and Beinette

The town of San Giorgio delle Pertiche in Veneto inaugurated its new municipal nursery, Il Nido del Bosco, on 11 July 2026. The zero‑emission, energy‑self‑sufficient facility was opened with a ribbon‑cutting ceremony attended by local officials, including Mayor Daniele Canella, Vice‑Mayor Alberto Corsini, Regional Assessor Filippo Giacinti and President of the Veneto region Alberto Stefani, as well as the parish priest Don Lorenzo Biasion.

In the Piedmont town of Beinette, a second municipal nursery will begin operations on 14 September 2026. Housed in the modern Polo dell’Infanzia and funded by PNRR resources, the centre follows the Reggio Emilia educational approach and offers rooms, outdoor play areas and supplementary programmes such as music therapy, pet therapy and English lessons. The service is managed by an experienced early‑childhood provider and aims to support local families with a safe, innovative environment.
