Italy regional recruitment drives target hundreds of roles in Puglia and Calabria

Regional employment initiatives in Italy are driving significant recruitment drives across the Puglia and Calabria regions.

In Puglia, the WorkUP program reports stable employment levels in the provinces of Bari, BAT, and Foggia, with 485 positions requested by local companies. The leisure, entertainment, and sports sectors lead the demand with 166 roles, followed by construction and tourism. Additionally, Club Med will hold a recruiting day in Bari on October 15 to fill various winter season roles in the tourism and catering sectors.

In Calabria, Grimaldi Lines is conducting a large-scale selection process for 505 maritime and onboard service workers. The recruitment drive, organized in Cosenza, seeks a wide range of professionals including 200 cabin stewards, 50 cooks, 150 kitchen assistants, and various technical roles such as electricians, plumbers, and sailors. The selection event is scheduled for September 30 in Cosenza, with a subsequent stop planned for Paola.
