Italy reports PNRR successes in Todi public works and transport digitalisation

The municipality of Todi in Umbria confirmed that it met the June 30 deadline for reporting projects funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). All 12 public‑works interventions, amounting to more than €5 million, are completed and fully accounted for, with an additional €4 million of projects – including a new school complex and a media‑auditorium – also finished and being reported. Local officials highlighted the timely completion of urban‑mobility upgrades, the restoration of historic structures, and the launch of digital‑administration initiatives, noting the achievement as rare both regionally and nationally.

At a national level, RAM Spa chief executive Davide Bordone told the ANITA assembly that the PNRR‑backed “LogIN Business” programme will support roughly 1,000 freight‑transport companies with about €100 million in funds to adopt digital tools, improving efficiency and safety. He also announced a separate €590 million allocation for the renewal of the vehicle fleet, aimed at modernising trucks, enhancing driver safety and overall road security. RAM will act as the Ministry of Infrastructure’s in‑house operator for these investments.
