Italy's INPS sets July 2026 payment dates for Universal Single Allowance

The Italian Institute for Social Security (INPS) has scheduled the July 2026 credit for the Universal Single Allowance (Assegno Unico) on Monday 20 July and Tuesday 21 July for families that are already receiving the benefit and whose ISEE, family composition, or payment details have not changed.

For new applications, the first installment will normally be paid in the last week of the month following the month the request is submitted. If any change affects the amount or payment, the credit will be issued in the last week of that month.

Beneficiaries must present a valid ISEE for 2026; without an updated ISEE, INPS will pay the minimum amount. The deadline to file an ISEE for recalculations with arrears from March was 30 June 2026. The revalued amounts for 2026 are €58.30 minimum and €203.80 maximum per child, with additional surcharges for conditions such as additional children, dual‑income parents, young mothers, disabilities, and larger families.

Payments are transferred to the bank or postal account (IBAN) registered with INPS. Recipients can verify payment status via the INPS online portal, the mobile app, or a patronage service, and should ensure their IBAN details are correct and up‑to‑date.
