Italy schedules summer rail closures in Pavia and road resurfacing in Vicenza

From 20 July to 28 August, Trenord will suspend train traffic on the Pavia‑Voghera and Pavia‑Pinarolo Po lines while extraordinary maintenance on the Po river bridge is carried out. Bus replacements will run on the affected routes, with adjusted timetables and additional staff at stations to assist travellers.

The municipality of Vicenza will carry out night‑time resurfacing works on Viale dello Stadio and Viale Riviera Berica starting 21 July. Sections of these streets will be closed to traffic, with temporary detours and one‑way arrangements, to repair roughly 10 000 m² of deteriorated pavement. Pedestrian access will be maintained and residents can use designated access routes.
