Italy showcases investment opportunities at CIFIT in Xiamen
Italy established a national pavilion at the 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) in Xiamen, running from September 8 to 11. Organized by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT), the pavilion operated under the theme “Italy: A Land of Opportunities.”
Italian authorities used the event to promote the country as a primary European investment hub, highlighting its position as the world’s eighth-largest economy and the EU’s second-largest manufacturing power. The showcase focused on key sectors including automotive, aerospace, green supply chains, the circular economy, and life sciences.
During the fair, investment experts and officials from agencies such as Invitalia and the “Invest in Italy” initiative conducted B2B meetings to provide one-stop advisory services to Chinese enterprises. Seminars were held to explain Italian foreign direct investment policies, legal frameworks, and government incentives designed to support foreign companies.
