Italy investment promotion at CIFIT in China

Overview

Italy launched a national pavilion at the 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) in Xiamen, running from September 8 to 11. Organized by the Italian Trade Agency in collaboration with the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the pavilion operated under the theme “Italy: A Land of Opportunities.”

The initiative aimed to promote Italy as a major European investment destination, emphasizing its status as the world’s eighth-largest economy and the second-largest manufacturing power in the EU. Key sectors targeted for promotion included automotive, aerospace, life sciences, the circular economy, and green supply chains.

During the event, officials from the “Invest in Italy” program and Invitalia provided one-stop advisory services and conducted B2B meetings with Chinese enterprises. Specialized seminars were also held to guide investors through Italy’s legal frameworks, investment policies, and government incentive programs.
