Italy faces a series of transport strikes scheduled throughout November 2026, affecting aviation, rail, and local public transit. The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport has outlined a calendar of mobilizations that will impact major cities and hubs.
Early disruptions include a four-hour ENAV strike at Bari airport on November 6. Mid-month, local public transport will face 24-hour strikes in Venice (ATVO) and Milan (ATM Group) on November 13, followed by a four-hour strike for ANM personnel in Naples on November 16. Additionally, SBB Cargo Italia has scheduled strikes for November 10 and 11, primarily affecting freight rail.
The most significant period is expected between November 20 and 22. This includes a 23-hour national railway strike starting at 21:00 on November 20 and lasting until 20:00 on November 21. This period also anticipates national ENAV strikes and 24-hour walkouts at Milan Malpensa and Venice Marco Polo airports.
