Italy Under-20 women's team to debut at World Cup against USA

The Italy Under-20 women's national football team is set to make its debut in the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Poland. The squad, led by coach Nicola Matteucci, will face the United States in their opening match.

This tournament marks Italy's first appearance in this category since 2012. The current roster features a mix of experienced players from the previous year's Under-19 European Championship and new talents from the 2006, 2007, and 2008 age groups. Players such as Giada Catena and Gabriella Langella represent the new additions to the squad, while others like Marta Zamboni and Paolo Fadda bring continuity to the group.
