Italy updates digital terrestrial television frequencies

Digital terrestrial television frequencies in Italy have been updated, requiring users to perform an automatic or manual channel search on their devices to ensure continued service. The update affects various national multiplexes (MUX), including MUX R, MUX A, and MUX B, which carry channels from the Rai network.

To upgrade older televisions without native DVB-T2 capabilities, users can utilize smart decoders. Recommended options include the TELE System ON T2 HD and TELE System UP1, both featuring Android TV and Chromecast integration for streaming services like Netflix and Disney Plus. Additionally, the DIPROGRESS DPATV2 offers 4K Ultra HD resolution and HDR support for enhanced picture quality.
