Italy women's volleyball team travels to Brazil for VNL 2026 pool matches

The Italian women's national volleyball squad, led by head coach Julio Velasco, has arrived in Brasília to begin preparations for the second pool of the 2026 Volleyball Nations League. Their group opponents are Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Turkey and host Brazil, with the first match scheduled for 3 June against Bulgaria.

All Italy matches will be streamed live on DAZN via the VBTV platform. The 14‑player roster includes setters Carlotta Cambi and Francesca Scola, outside hitters such as Stella Nervini and Loveth Omoruyi, middle blockers Denise Meli and Yasmina Akrari, opposites Merit Adigwe and Binto Diop, and liberos Ilaria Spirito and Eleonora Fersino. The complete pool schedule runs from 3 June to 7 June, featuring games against the Dominican Republic, Turkey, the Netherlands, Bulgaria and Brazil.
