Italy's INPS announces 1,695 permanent positions in 2026 recruitment drive

The Istituto Nazionale della Previdenza Sociale (INPS) has released the 2026 public competition to recruit 1,695 permanent officials across all regions of Italy. Candidates must hold an Italian or EU citizenship, be of legal age, and possess a university degree in fields such as law, economics, political science, public administration, engineering, or computer science.

Applications are to be submitted exclusively online via the Public Administration Recruitment Portal (InPA) using SPID, CIE, or CNS credentials, with a certified email address (PEC) and the required competition fee. The selection may include a preselection test of 60 multiple‑choice questions covering verbal reasoning, general culture, informatics, English and logic, followed by written exams and oral interviews covering administrative law, labor law, economics, finance and INPS organization.

To aid preparation, a dedicated quiz database containing over 12,024 questions across the five preselection subjects is available, allowing candidates to practice through simulated tests that replicate real exam conditions.
