Italy's INPS launches major recruitment drives for medical doctors and civil servants
The National Institute of Social Security (INPS) in Italy published an online notice to recruit 49 medical doctors for fiscal medical examinations in Lombardy. The positions are allocated across provincial INPS offices: 6 in Brescia, Bergamo, and Como; 4 in Cremona, Lecco, Lodi, Mantova, Monza, Sondrio, and Varese; 5 in Pavia; and 2 in Varese. Applications must be submitted by 6 July via certified email (PEC) with the required documentation.
In a separate nationwide contest, INPS announced a competition for 1,695 permanent civil‑service posts in the Area of Services. The deadline for applications is 27 July. The vacancies are distributed across all regions, with the largest allocations in Rome (215) and Milan (196), and a small allocation of five positions in Sicily. Successful candidates will receive indefinite‑term contracts and be assigned to the INPS office corresponding to their ranking.
Both announcements aim to strengthen INPS’s operational capacity in health‑related assessments and general public‑service functions.
